Off Road
Kendal is the ideal place for an off-road club with the Lake District National Park and MTB centres at Grizedale and Whinlatter on its doorstep. If you feel like getting off the tarmac and onto some singletrack this is the place for you.
The club has weekly mountain bike rides. These rides are organised through the Club App. You will need membership in order to access this information. Non-member riders are not covered by club insurance and may be held personally liable for any injury or damage they may cause. These are not lead rides and you are responsible for your own safety and equipment. Bring water, food and any tools or spares that you might need. For more information contact offroad@kendal.cc
Mountain Bike Leadership
In order to offer more rides the club needs more Mountain Bike leaders. Please contact us if you’re interested in doing a Mountain Bike leaders course. The aim of this award is to upskill volunteers, either from a basic level of MTB proficiency or from ‘in-house’ training.
