This is the Club’s first Annual Dinner and Award’s Presentation. It’s an opportunity for members and their partners/spouses/family to get together and celebrate the Club’s achievements. As well as a three course meal and an award’s presentation, we also have entertaining guest speakers in the form of Dean Downing and Jill Dawes. Dean is one of the best known names on the UK domestic cycling scene and he will talk about his racing experience and life post-competition. Jill is a Kendal Cycle Club member and has recently completed a once in a lifetime bikepacking adventure. Jill cycled the world’s longest MTB route, stretching from Banff in Canada to the Mexican border. 2768 miles, 200,000ft of elevation, through the states of Alberta, British Columbia, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado and New Mexico.
